‘At its core, rooting for you is an act of reconnection. Raised in urban environments, I was disconnected from the agricultural and herbal knowledge of my ancestors. Working with organic materials is a way of bridging that gap, of remembering through making. 

By tending to living materials, I revisit those histories through touch, patience and collaboration. The resulting installation is not a static archive but an evolving ecology of images, time and organic matter, an exploration of what it means to create with nature rather than about it.’
